About this work
She steps from the darkness without armour, yet nothing about her suggests vulnerability.
Crowned in black feathers and adorned with delicate fragments of brass, she exists somewhere between woman, machine and omen. Her gaze offers neither invitation nor warning; it simply holds the viewer long enough to suggest that she already knows how this encounter will end.
From The Imaginarium Trilogy, Nemesis embodies the darker marriage of flesh and invention — beauty sharpened by intelligence, sensuality tempered by danger.
The feathers rise like the plumage of some ancient bird of prophecy, while tiny mechanisms rest against the body as though machinery itself has become intimate.
She does not need to threaten.
Some creatures announce their danger with noise.
Others merely watch from the shadows.
How it is made, and what you receive
- Built, not captured
- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.

- Every photograph in every composite was taken by me. Nothing here is generated, and nothing is bought in from a library.

- The image is infused into a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel rather than laid on top of it, which is what gives these prints their depth and luminosity. Paper cannot do it.

- Each print is signed, numbered within its edition, and sent with a certificate of authenticity.
