About this work
A street erupts into spectacle while, somewhere beyond the crowd, a darker purpose quietly unfolds.
Two women from the bordello step into the centre of the city and turn themselves into a magnificent distraction — provocative, theatrical and impossible to ignore. Respectability gives way to curiosity, outrage and delight as the street closes around them. Every eye is drawn towards the performance.
But chaos is rarely accidental.
While the crowd watches, a traveller displaced from his own time moves unseen towards the police morgue. His prize is not gold, nor a body, but a book carried into death by its owner — something important enough to justify murder, deception and the manipulation of an entire street.
Chaos, from Book Two of The Imaginarium Trilogy, captures the instant when spectacle becomes camouflage. Beneath the humour and theatrical excess lies something calculated and sinister: one man understands that the easiest way to become invisible is not to hide in the darkness, but to give everyone else something brighter to look at.
While the city watches the performance, the real story slips quietly through the door.
How it is made, and what you receive
- Built, not captured
- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.
- No AI, no stock images
- Every photograph in every composite was taken by me. Nothing here is generated, and nothing is bought in from a library.
- Printed on metal
- The image is infused into a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel rather than laid on top of it, which is what gives these prints their depth and luminosity. Paper cannot do it.
- Signed and numbered
- Each print is signed, numbered within its edition, and sent with a certificate of authenticity.
- Made to order
- Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your print is produced when you order it, which takes about two weeks, then shipped insured.
