Gary — worth adding: gallery names and dates for Qatar and Dubai, and anything coming up in 2026. An exhibitions page with dates on it is one of the few things that reliably brings press and curators to an artist's site; a page with only past events does much less.

Flux Review TV

I appear regularly on Flux Review TV, broadcast live on YouTube on Thursday nights at 7pm UK time — weekly artist interviews, often going into the technical side of how these images get built.

Talks and lectures

I speak to camera clubs, societies and colleges, and the talk is designed to send people home wanting to try something rather than just having watched somebody else's slideshow. It covers:

What fine art photography actually is, and where the line sits between a photograph and a constructed image
Artist's vision — the idea, the body of work, and how to write an artist statement that isn't meaningless
The Photoshop techniques behind my own work: shadows, skin retouching, detail enhancement, and how to make composited elements sit in the same light
The Imaginarium Trilogy, and what eight years on one project teaches you

I also run full-evening Photoshop workshops for groups who want to work through the techniques properly rather than watch them go past.

I bring metal prints with me, which for most audiences is the part that lands — these do not photograph well, and seeing one is different.
