About this work
Under a bruised and empty sky, the airship drifts towards shore bearing its stolen cargo.
Within it, Eva is carried away from the world she knows, while below, Lord Montague moves ahead to prepare the path to her confinement. The landscape offers no resistance — only silence, rock and marsh, as though the earth itself has yielded to the darkness of his intent.
The vessel hangs between worlds: part machine, part omen. It promises movement, yet brings only captivity; it crosses open space, yet delivers its passenger towards secrecy and imprisonment.
From Book One of The Imaginarium Trilogy, this image captures the dreadful calm that follows an act of violence — the moment when the deed is done, the route is cleared, and innocence is carried steadily towards the shadows.
Not every journey is an escape.

- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.
