About this work
Beneath an altar of brass, pipes and electricity, a body waits for the impossible.
Around the chamber, witnesses gather in the darkness as science abandons reason and becomes ritual. Arms are raised, energy descends, and for one suspended moment the boundary between life and invention disappears.
Nemesis is not gently awakened.
She is summoned.
From The Imaginarium Trilogy, The Nemesis Is Born captures the dangerous instant when human ambition reaches beyond creation and attempts to manufacture destiny itself.
The spectators have come to witness a miracle.
They may instead be watching the birth of something they will one day fear.
For there is always a moment when the creator must ask not whether life can be made —
but what will happen when it opens its eyes.
How it is made, and what you receive
- Built, not captured
- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.
- No AI, no stock images
- Every photograph in every composite was taken by me. Nothing here is generated, and nothing is bought in from a library.
- Printed on metal
- The image is infused into a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel rather than laid on top of it, which is what gives these prints their depth and luminosity. Paper cannot do it.
