About this work
Under velvet curtains and theatrical light, Alice stands at the centre of her own impossible performance.
As she sings, the miniature circus comes alive around her — acrobats, aerialists and strange little performers descending from above like fragments of a dream made visible. What she once carried in secret now unfolds upon the stage, turning song into spectacle and imagination into living theatre.
The cage-like structure of her costume and the chequered umbrella above her bind the world of circus, music hall and Wonderland into a single enchanted act. Fire flickers at her feet, curtains part behind her, and the ordinary rules of scale and reality quietly dissolve.
From The Imaginarium Trilogy, Alice’s Night Circus is a celebration of performance as transformation — the moment when a singer becomes ringmaster, fantasy becomes showmanship, and a hidden world steps forward to dance in the spotlight.
She does not simply sing the act.
She summons it.
How it is made, and what you receive
- Built, not captured
- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.
- No AI, no stock images
- Every photograph in every composite was taken by me. Nothing here is generated, and nothing is bought in from a library.
- Printed on metal
- The image is infused into a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel rather than laid on top of it, which is what gives these prints their depth and luminosity. Paper cannot do it.
- Signed and numbered
- Each print is signed, numbered within its edition, and sent with a certificate of authenticity.
- Made to order
- Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your print is produced when you order it, which takes about two weeks, then shipped insured.
