About this work
The fairy tale has ended, but the story has not. A solitary figure runs through a bleak, unfamiliar landscape, clutching the glass slipper that once promised transformation. The gown remains, but the enchantment has begun to unravel.
Behind her, the remnants of Cinderella’s world are scattered across the earth — pumpkins, discarded possibility, the fragile debris of a dream that could not last. What was once magical now feels exposed and uncertain.
After the Ball reimagines Cinderella not as a story of rescue, but of awakening. The slipper becomes less a symbol of romance than of choice: whether to return to the illusion, or continue forward without it.
This is the moment after midnight — when fantasy recedes, reality returns, and the heroine must decide who she is when the magic is gone.
How it is made, and what you receive
- Built, not captured
- Every element is photographed separately, then layered and worked in Photoshop until the scene holds together as one image.
- No AI, no stock images
- Every photograph in every composite was taken by me. Nothing here is generated, and nothing is bought in from a library.
- Printed on metal
- The image is infused into a ChromaLuxe aluminium panel rather than laid on top of it, which is what gives these prints their depth and luminosity. Paper cannot do it.

- Each print is signed, numbered within its edition, and sent with a certificate of authenticity.
